How to Delete Your HesabPay Account

This page explains how to permanently delete your HesabPay account and the personal data associated with it. You have the right to request deletion of your account at any time. To protect your funds and verify your identity, account deletion is handled directly by our Compliance team rather than through the app.

How to request account deletion

Contact our Compliance team

Email [email protected] from the email or mobile number registered to your account. State clearly that you want your HesabPay account permanently deleted, and include your registered full name and mobile number.

Verify your identity

To protect your account and your funds, our Compliance team will verify your identity before any deletion is processed. This ensures no one else can request deletion of your account.

Deletion & confirmation

Once your identity is verified and any remaining balance is settled, your account and personal data are permanently deleted and you will receive a confirmation.

What gets deleted

When your deletion request is completed, we permanently remove the personal data tied to your account, including:

  • Your profile and contact details (name, email, mobile number).
  • Identity verification (KYC) documents and information.
  • Your HesabPay wallet and any saved payment methods.
  • Login credentials, security settings, and app preferences.
  • Personal data linked to your transaction history.

This action is permanent and cannot be undone

Account deletion is irreversible. Once your account is deleted, it cannot be recovered and you will permanently lose access to your wallet balance, transaction history, HesabCard, and all HesabPay services tied to this account. Please withdraw or transfer any remaining balance and settle pending transactions before requesting deletion.

Before you request deletion

  • Withdraw or transfer any remaining wallet balance to zero.
  • Complete or cancel any pending or in-progress transactions.
  • Cancel any active HesabCard linked to your account, if applicable.
  • Download any account statements or records you may need later.

Data we are required to keep

As a licensed financial services provider, we are legally required to retain certain transaction records even after your account is deleted. These records are kept for a minimum of five (5) years to comply with Da Afghanistan Bank regulations and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) laws. They are retained solely to meet these legal and regulatory obligations, are no longer linked to an active account, and are not used for any other purpose. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
