01

How can I activate my Visa Card?

If your HesabPay account is already verified, you do not need to activate the Visa Card separately.

  1. Update HesabPay to the latest version from the App Store or Google Play Store.
  2. Log in to your HesabPay account.
  3. Once you log in, your Visa Card should appear automatically.
  4. Swipe on your HesabPay card on the Home Screen to see your Visa Card.

Important

  • If your account is verified but the Visa Card is still not showing, wait 24–48 hours and check again.
  • If it still does not appear, contact HesabPay Support for assistance.
02

Where can I load money to my Visa Card?

You do not need to load money directly to your Visa Card. Add money to your HesabPay wallet and the available balance will automatically be reflected in your Visa Card balance in USD, based on the applicable exchange rate.

Important

  • You can use your available HesabPay wallet balance for Visa Card payments.
  • You do not need to add funds separately to the Visa Card.
  • Make sure your HesabPay wallet has sufficient balance before making a payment.
03

How can I check my Visa Card details?

  1. Open the HesabPay application.
  2. Swipe on your HesabPay card.
  3. Select Visa Card.
  4. Select Cards.
  5. Select Card Details.
  6. Enter your HesabPay PIN when requested.

Important

  • Keep approximately 650–700 AFN in your HesabPay wallet so the Visa transaction authorization does not fail.
  • If your balance is below this amount, you may not be able to view your Visa Card details.
  • Never share your Visa Card number, CVV, PIN or OTP code with anyone.
04

My account is verified, but my Visa Card is not showing. What should I do?

Your Visa Card should be created and displayed automatically within 24–48 hours after your HesabPay account is approved. Please check your account again after this period.

  • Confirm that your account is fully verified, not still under review or rejected.
  • Make sure you are using the latest version of the HesabPay application.
  • If needed, reinstall the application and check again.
  • If the Visa Card still does not appear, contact HesabPay Support so the team can check your account.
05

How much is the fee for using the Visa Card?

There is no card issuance fee and no monthly, quarterly or annual fee. There is also no 3DS fee, SMS fee or other regular card-related charge.

An approximately 1% foreign-exchange fee may apply when converting funds from AFN to USD.

06

What is the transaction limit for the Visa Card?

  • Weekly limit: 20,000 AFN (approximately $300 USD).
  • Monthly limit: 80,000 AFN (approximately $1,200 USD).

Important

  • These are the current Visa Card usage limits set by the Central Bank.
  • The limits apply to total usage during the relevant period, not only to a single transaction.
  • If you reach a limit, wait until the applicable weekly or monthly period resets before making more transactions.
  • HesabPay is working to increase Visa Card limits in the future.
07

Where can the Visa Card be used?

The HesabPay Virtual Visa Card can be used for eligible online and international payments on websites, applications and digital platforms that accept Visa cards.

  • Online shopping and purchases.
  • Hotel, airline and travel bookings.
  • Online courses and educational platforms.
  • Digital entertainment and streaming subscriptions.
  • Software, apps and digital services.
  • International websites, subscriptions and other online services that accept Visa.

Important

  • Visa acceptance does not guarantee every transaction will succeed; individual merchants may have their own restrictions.
  • Some websites may not accept virtual, prepaid or internationally issued Visa cards.
  • Some merchants may require additional verification, such as an SMS or OTP code.
  • Before paying, check that you have enough balance and available transaction limit.

The benefit: You can make many eligible international online payments without needing a physical card.

08

How can I increase the limit of my Visa Card?

Customers cannot currently increase the Visa Card limit manually or request an immediate limit increase. The current weekly limit is 20,000 AFN (approximately $300 USD), and the monthly limit is 80,000 AFN (approximately $1,200 USD).

HesabPay is working to increase these limits. Any changes will be communicated through the HesabPay application or official updates.

Tip: Keep your HesabPay application updated to receive the latest features and improvements.

09

How can I create a Visa Card?

You do not need to apply separately for a HesabPay Visa Card. You only need your original NID and a HesabPay account.

  1. Download the HesabPay app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
  2. Create your HesabPay account using your personal details.
  3. Complete the account verification process using your original NID.
  4. Wait for your account to be reviewed and approved.
  5. Once approved, your Visa Card will be created automatically and appear in the HesabPay application.

Important

  • If your approved account does not show the Visa Card immediately, allow 24–48 hours and check again.
  • Always use your original NID and never share your PIN, OTP, CVV or other confidential card information.
10

Can I send or receive money from one Visa Card to another?

Visa Card-to-Visa Card transfers are not currently available. For now, the card is designed for eligible online and international payments, not for sending money directly to another Visa Card.

The HesabPay team is working on this feature and will share an official update if it becomes available.

11

How can I get a physical Visa Card?

Physical Visa Cards are not currently available. HesabPay is working to offer this service in the future.

Important

  • There is currently no physical Visa Card ordering or application process.
  • You do not need to visit an office to request a physical card.
  • Your Virtual Visa Card appears in the HesabPay app after your account is approved.
  • You can start making eligible online payments without waiting for a physical card.
12

What if I do not receive the SMS verification code?

  • Check that your SMS inbox is not full and delete old messages if needed.
  • Check your SIM card signal and network connection.
  • Confirm that your SIM card can receive other SMS messages.
  • Restart your phone and try again.
  • Try putting the SIM card in another phone to test it.

Tip: For your security, never share an SMS verification code or OTP with anyone.
